Speaker A:What's up, guys?
Speaker A:How you doing?
Speaker A:Angelo, Envoy.
Speaker A:And I got my co host, Olga.
Speaker B:Last of the nerd girls.
Speaker A:Welcome to another installment of Pure Frequency.
Speaker A:Welcome to our couch.
Speaker B:Yeah, welcome to your comfy cozy.
Speaker A:This is a La Z Boy couch.
Speaker B:It is.
Speaker B:I adore it.
Speaker A:Yeah, I didn't, I didn't realize how they actually sold really good, like, furniture.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, I used to work there.
Speaker A:Yeah, I no longer work there.
Speaker A:But I'm not a hater.
Speaker A:I'm not a, I'm not a hater inside joke.
Speaker A:But God bless y'all.
Speaker A:Thank you guys for tuning in.
Speaker A:We're so happy with the direction of where we're going.
Speaker B:Yeah, I, I, I would agree.
Speaker B:So.
Speaker A:Yeah, I gotta take my mic out.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:Take your mic out.
Speaker A:Yeah, I gotta take my mic out.
Speaker A:You're holding your mic and I wanna, I wanna hold my mic.
Speaker B:I want your mic.
Speaker A:We've been doing that actually, as of lately.
Speaker B:Yeah, holding mics.
Speaker A:Yeah, little mics.
Speaker A:Like the interview with my pops.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:We had also Dom Apollo holding the mic.
Speaker B:That's right.
Speaker B:I remember that.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Yeah, that was good.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:Something, you know, like, organic about it.
Speaker A:Yeah, I think so.
Speaker A:And what do you guys think?
Speaker A:Put it in the comments.
Speaker A:If you think if it looks better when someone holds the mics or actually.
Speaker B:Having the little stand or the.
Speaker A:Yeah, we'll call it that.
Speaker A:We'll call it a little stand.
Speaker A:Little stand.
Speaker B:I don't know the terms.
Speaker A:Let's do a mic.
Speaker A:Cheers.
Speaker A:Turn the volume up really loud.
Speaker B:Oh, stop.
Speaker B:I actually.
Speaker B:Yes, you were gonna do that.
Speaker B:I was.
Speaker A:Oh, my God, you're tripping.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Yo, my wife be tripping, yo.
Speaker A:Sometimes out of pocket, but, you know.
Speaker A:So what do we want to talk about today?
Speaker A:Of course, like every other recap.
Speaker A:So we want to go over some of our week's journey.
Speaker A:The things that we've learned, the things that we, we went through, and you know, what God has shown us in it.
Speaker A:And for me, it's been an amazing week.
Speaker B:Nice.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So, you know, I did the interview with my father about the documentary about the colored school in Elkton.
Speaker A:Beautifully done.
Speaker A:Oh, yeah, beautifully done.
Speaker A:Shout out.
Speaker A:Shout out to Pops for that.
Speaker A:And also Dom Apollo.
Speaker A:So that's a, that's a brother of mine.
Speaker A:Like, I, I've known him in the music scene for a while, actually.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker A:You know, for a while.
Speaker A:And, and we really didn't connect.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Like, we did freestyle around each other.
Speaker A:Like on Main street, there's this place called Mojo Main street in Newark, Delaware.
Speaker A:Fun time.
Speaker A:A lot of young kids there, a lot of young adults who are just into the arts.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And having those interviews just, man, it made me feel back to what Pure Frequency is all about.
Speaker A:So it's all about glorifying God through the arts.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:It's always been about that.
Speaker A:And, you know, I think because.
Speaker A:Because I'm a studier, that I was just like, hey, I'll take along, you know, you guys on a journey of me learning in the scriptures, you know, the Greek, the Hebrew, the, you know, the Bible studies, learning how to control bitterness, learning how to, you know, all those things, and Which I'll still continue to do, but the.
Speaker A:The focus is the art.
Speaker A:So it was just.
Speaker A:Man, it was just uplifting to have Jamie followed by my dad, then followed by Dom Apollo.
Speaker A:It was amazing.
Speaker A:It was like, wow.
Speaker A:You know, like Jamie was talking about in the interview, like, building community.
Speaker A:It was just like seeing my community thriving.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And it was amazing.
Speaker A:I loved it.
Speaker A:So.
Speaker B:No, I.
Speaker B:I agree.
Speaker B:I like seeing the product.
Speaker B:I also like seeing the journey that you're on and how you create the product.
Speaker B:That's what I like seeing most because, like, I get to see behind the scenes and I get to see the creative juices flowing and I get to see the artistry that you have for it and the passion that you have for it.
Speaker A:Tell me more about me.
Speaker B:But no, this is definitely a gift that you have.
Speaker B:Well, like I said before, a passion, and it.
Speaker B:You just flourish in it.
Speaker A:Are you getting emotional?
Speaker B:I am getting emotional.
Speaker B:I love that because now I'm getting super emotional.
Speaker B:But no, like, things like that really speak to me.
Speaker B:Like, once someone finds their medium of expressing themselves.
Speaker A:Thing.
Speaker B:Their Thing, their way.
Speaker B:Their way of ex.
Speaker B:Not only.
Speaker B:Not only of expressing themselves, but of kind of showing God to others and connect the like.
Speaker B:Like, David had his harp and his songs.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:And now we have so much more.
Speaker B:Yeah, we have the visual, we have the audio.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know, the.
Speaker B:Some churches have, you know, flaggings like our.
Speaker B:Our church does, and praise dance.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So, yeah, I love it.
Speaker A:Thank you for the encouragement.
Speaker A:That's so encouraging.
Speaker A:And I think, you know, for you guys, I think it's always good to understand how to be encouraging in your community.
Speaker A:Like, how do you speak to someone where you're not speaking to their ego, but you're speaking to the spirit that God has put in them?
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:You're speaking to the imagination and to the creativity into the life that God has put in them.
Speaker B:Oh, we got a special guest, Kitty break.
Speaker A:So, yeah, you know, this is something that I believe we odd do is we all have the ability to give a good.
Speaker A:Attaboy.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Give a good.
Speaker A:Hey, job well done.
Speaker A:We have that ability to do so.
Speaker A:And he's still in the show right now.
Speaker B:He is, yes.
Speaker B:I think he's been waiting for this moment.
Speaker A:Actually, he's been waiting for this moment all his life.
Speaker A:All right, enough.
Speaker A:Hey, you know what's crazy why cats do that, man?
Speaker A:They always gotta put their booty in your face.
Speaker A:The cat booty in your face.
Speaker A:So, yeah, I think everybody has it in them to be encouraging in some way, shape form or another.
Speaker A:Like we always have it and we might have to do that again.
Speaker B:Oh, he's easy.
Speaker A:Yeah, go ahead, settle down.
Speaker B:Yeah, settle down.
Speaker B:There you go.
Speaker A:So I think we all have it in us to be enthusiastic towards someone's goals and visions, and that's when we are encouraging to them.
Speaker A:I've met so many people, and I'm pretty sure you have too, who were really fake with their encouragement.
Speaker A:You know, they didn't really mean it, but it was kind of like the thing to say and a thing to do.
Speaker A:So they had to say it to look like an ally and to look like they weren't really hating on you.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:You know, I used to have a friend where I would have this conversation with him a lot of times because, you know, although I may not agree with a lot of the things that he may or may have not done, I do agree with, you know, the statements of reaching your goals and, you know, doing what you need to do to get it and how there will be opposition.
Speaker A:You will have.
Speaker A:Oh, yeah, haters.
Speaker A:How do you feel about that?
Speaker B:I mean, in anything that you set your mind towards and you set forth to achieve, conquer, build up, you're going to find opposition.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:It's not always people.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker B:It's not people.
Speaker B:It's just.
Speaker A:Even happens.
Speaker A:Chance can be.
Speaker B:I was just going to say that.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:Even happen.
Speaker A:Chance can be.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:And it almost tests you.
Speaker B:Tests like how much you want that thing, you know that whether it's a goal or accomplishment.
Speaker B:Like my niece, she's.
Speaker B:She's in the state championship for wrestling and she's little.
Speaker B:She's a little kid and like the fact that she keeps pursuing it, you know, that's a big thing.
Speaker A:And our other niece, she's really killing it.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah.
Speaker A:With dance championships.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:Listen, like, God bless your parents.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker A:Go out and do all this.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:That Is dedication.
Speaker A:Y'all.
Speaker A:Y'all the real MVPs.
Speaker B:That is dedicate.
Speaker B:Like, it's.
Speaker B:It's not just a child who's in these sports and.
Speaker B:And.
Speaker B:And dance.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:In performances.
Speaker B:It's the parents, too.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:So anything that you pursue, like I.
Speaker B:Like I had mentioned before, you're going to have opposition.
Speaker B:It's not just going to be people.
Speaker B:Sometimes it'll be like, you know, frustration, or if you.
Speaker B:If you hit, like, a plateau in the journey, you're just like, well, you know, almost like a.
Speaker B:What's the point?
Speaker B:And you got to keep pushing through.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:You know.
Speaker A:You know, that's really going to separate us from the world.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Is persevering.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:You know, and I think, you know, when the scripture tells us to persevere, the Lord knows that we're going to come against opposition.
Speaker A:And sometimes we're going to come against a test that the Lord has.
Speaker A:Has purposed for us to strengthen us.
Speaker A:But we're going to view it with our fleshly eyes and call it opposition, when really it is just a point in a time that God has prepared for you to strengthen you.
Speaker A:You know, like David.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:And Goliath.
Speaker A:David.
Speaker A:David and Goliath is such an amazing story because here it is.
Speaker A:This giant had to come from somewhere.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:This giant had to survive to get to this point.
Speaker A:God prepared the giant to be slain.
Speaker A:God also prepared David so he can slay the giant.
Speaker B:That's crazy.
Speaker A:And he made sure that that giant would be in David's way.
Speaker A:So David can rely on faith.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:And literally destroy the enemies, not through his power, but by God.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker A:That right there, it's amazing.
Speaker A:You uncircumcised Philistine.
Speaker B:That's crazy.
Speaker B:Speaking of David, what about that.
Speaker B:That new show on.
Speaker B:On Amazon Prime?
Speaker A:Oh, yeah, that.
Speaker B:House of David.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:House of David.
Speaker A:House of David is a little.
Speaker A:Wow.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:It is.
Speaker B:They.
Speaker A:It's a little different.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:It's a little.
Speaker A:It's a little bloody.
Speaker B:It is.
Speaker B:It's interesting, though.
Speaker A:I like it.
Speaker A:I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker B:I.
Speaker B:I like.
Speaker A:They pushed the boundary a little bit.
Speaker B:They do.
Speaker B:They took art.
Speaker B:What did they say?
Speaker B:Artistic licensure.
Speaker A:That thing.
Speaker B:Yeah, that thing.
Speaker B:But anything that's.
Speaker B:Of biblical stories, I.
Speaker B:I love.
Speaker B:I love that.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:The telling of it, you know?
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:It's just like.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, I remember that story.
Speaker A:I really enjoy the depiction of David's praise and worship.
Speaker A:Like, the actor is really amazing.
Speaker A:Like, he practiced the Shema and he sings the Shema that's the shema.
Speaker A:He's singing it and he learned it on the.
Speaker A:What is it called?
Speaker A:The Arp harp.
Speaker A:Is it harp or.
Speaker A:Arp harp?
Speaker B:Harp, yes.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:He learned it and really nailed it and sung it.
Speaker A:And he had a story about his audition.
Speaker B:No way.
Speaker A:That he knew that he had to learn that to get the part.
Speaker A:And even if he didn't get the part, he sent it to them anyway to show them, like, whoever does get this part, they have to do it this way.
Speaker B:Oh, wow.
Speaker A:That's why they picked him.
Speaker A:They picked him because he had such a great sight for the character of David that they were like, yeah, he's got to get this.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And that's, you know, the passion.
Speaker B:Being persistent, you know, pushing through and, you know, relying on God, like, if this is meant for me, like, cool.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And mastery.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Like learning his craft and.
Speaker A:And taking control of it and making sure that.
Speaker A:That he understands the role full heartedly.
Speaker A:There's something to that, man.
Speaker A:And I, I really.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:His faith.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:Me and my naive self, I'm like, yeah, they're all Christians.
Speaker A:I have no idea.
Speaker A:And, you know, we'll take a look at that.
Speaker A:Some of you guys know that.
Speaker A:Put it in the comments.
Speaker A:But I think it takes someone who has to have a deep understanding of what a relationship with God looks like to portray that.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Really?
Speaker B:That makes sense.
Speaker A:Really.
Speaker A:So we're.
Speaker A:We're only on, like the third episode, right?
Speaker A:I know.
Speaker A:There's probably four episodes.
Speaker B:I think so.
Speaker B:I think I thought we were on the fourth.
Speaker B:I could be wrong.
Speaker A:We may be on the fourth episode.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:No, they're.
Speaker B:They, they hook you in, bro.
Speaker A:Sauce.
Speaker A:He's like, yeah, man, you know, how do y'all feel about Saul?
Speaker A:Like, put it in the comments.
Speaker A:How do you feel about.
Speaker A:So for me, I feel, like, sorry for him.
Speaker A:I'm like, dang, man.
Speaker A:Should have listened, right?
Speaker A:Dang.
Speaker A:You should have listened, bro.
Speaker A:I feel bad.
Speaker A:Sorry for you.
Speaker A:Now you gotta go through this.
Speaker A:And I know what's gonna happen.
Speaker A:The spoiler.
Speaker A:Spoiler alert has already been given.
Speaker A:So, like, how do you guys feel about it?
Speaker B:Yeah, tell.
Speaker B:Tell us in the comments.
Speaker B:He's a good example of, like, when we don't listen either.
Speaker B:I think a lot of biblical individuals are good examples of what happens when you do listen to God and then you don't listen to God and everything in between.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And both at the same time.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:David is.
Speaker A:Is both at the same time.
Speaker B:He is.
Speaker B:He is.
Speaker B:And he was a man after God's own heart.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:It's so funny.
Speaker A:Like, for me, I.
Speaker A:We hear these stories and in my younger Christian years, I would always use that as a license to make myself not feel guilty for walking outside of the will of God.
Speaker A:But I gotta tell you guys, that's a wrong idea.
Speaker A:That is not a good way to think about everything.
Speaker A:You know, I think living holy, as the Bible says, to present yourself a living sacrifice, it's your reasonable act of worship.
Speaker A:It's reasonable.
Speaker A:They didn't say, like, you know, that's over the top for you.
Speaker A:No, it's, it's reasonable.
Speaker A:Like it's like the basics reasonable.
Speaker A:And you know, for me, I think anything less is really what's going to get us to the point where we start to invite other ideas, the schools of thoughts.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:And other things into.
Speaker A:Into the mix.
Speaker B:Yeah, I, I would agree.
Speaker B:And allow.
Speaker B:I don't know.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Like.
Speaker A:Like politics.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I was gonna say the influence of, you know, the quote unquote world, like the worldly views.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker B:Which can be a variety of things, but.
Speaker B:And I was actually thinking the same.
Speaker B:I was thinking about the same topic earlier today.
Speaker B:Like, what does that mean?
Speaker B:What does that look like?
Speaker B:And it's anything that comes in that creeps in and influences you in such a way that you lose your connection and the values that you've received from God, from his Word.
Speaker A:Yeah, I agree.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:And that's what I've been actually hearing this whole week.
Speaker B:Whether I was just out and about, whether I was at work or, you know, an opportunity would come up is just take that step in faith, you know.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:And it's not just like of faith, but in faith, take it in faith.
Speaker B:Because, you know, God.
Speaker B:God's got.
Speaker A:You see, she was supposed to tell me that word, but I had to get it from a guy in my car.
Speaker B:Oh, my gosh.
Speaker A:Yo, my wife be.
Speaker A:Should be a whole pastor on the low and she don't even be knowing it.
Speaker B:I don't, I don't.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:That.
Speaker B:That is.
Speaker B:Praise God.
Speaker B:That's all God.
Speaker B:Anything that comes from me that is inspirational, encouraging, uplifting, that is all God.
Speaker B:I promise you.
Speaker A:And praise God, the most high God.
Speaker B:The most high God.
Speaker B:Amen.
Speaker B:He is worthy to be praised.
Speaker B:Hallelujah.
Speaker B:But I've been, you know, stepping in faith.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:And you know, in Hebrews 11, 6, for we live by faith, not by sight.
Speaker A:Amen to that.
Speaker A:They're.
Speaker A:They're again giants.
Speaker B:Right.
Speaker A:The Israelites looked at the giant and said, nah, dog, that's wild.
Speaker A:We ain't about to do that.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:They were, like, terrified.
Speaker A:And David knew something.
Speaker A:He knew that he was not going to do it on his own.
Speaker A:He knew that God would slay him.
Speaker A:So he went out there knowing full well that God was going to do it.
Speaker A:But he went out there even though it looked scary, even though that he knew, like, without God.
Speaker A:Toast.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:Toast.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:Flattened, like, unleavened bread, like.
Speaker A:But with God, like, all things are possible.
Speaker A:So he didn't see what, the eyes of men, Fleshly eyes.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker A:He's seen with the spiritual eyes.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:And that's our message for you today.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:So our week was made by taking steps of faith.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:And getting us to a point where we can go to a new level of faith.
Speaker A:I never did a music video before.
Speaker B:But you did that.
Speaker A:I did that one.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:And I was like, wow, I could do this.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker A:And then I did my second one today.
Speaker B:Let's go.
Speaker A:It's Saturday, y'all.
Speaker A:By the way, this will come out on Sunday.
Speaker A:But it's Saturday.
Speaker B:It is.
Speaker B:But no, I'm.
Speaker B:Like I said before, I'm super excited watching him work in his craft.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:God's going to bless it.
Speaker A:And God's going to bless you guys, too.
Speaker A:So as we come to the close of this, we want you to remember about faith.
Speaker A:My wife is going to pray for you guys.
Speaker A:She's going to pray for, you know, healing and.
Speaker A:And faith to increase.
Speaker A:So, you know, listen, this ain't a TV evangelist thing, but let's step out in an act of faith.
Speaker A:If you have an illness, if you have something going on with you, if you are in depression, if you're in anxiety, I want you to stretch out your right hand and touch your screen.
Speaker A:Wherever you are, just step out in faith.
Speaker A:Even though it looks crazy.
Speaker A:Step out of faith.
Speaker A:Go ahead and touch those.
Speaker A:Scream.
Speaker A:You're going to pray for them, for healing.
Speaker A:You're going to pray for them to increase in faith.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker A:Okay, guys.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:We're all with this, right?
Speaker A:We're all with it.
Speaker B:Father God, thank you for your mercy, Lord.
Speaker B:And your sovereignty, Lord.
Speaker B:Father, I just ask that you pour out into those watching us, Lord, that are hearing your words, Lord, that are beginning to understand and know you, Lord.
Speaker B:Grow close to you, Lord.
Speaker B:You know their ailment.
Speaker B:You know what they are hiding from, what they are hiding in.
Speaker B:Lord God, I just pray.
Speaker B:Father God, please touch them.
Speaker B:Pour out your love onto them, Father God.
Speaker B:Pour out your healing, Father God.
Speaker A:Let.
Speaker B:Them know that they're not alone.
Speaker B:Let them know that they matter.
Speaker B:Let them know that, yes, there is daylight.
Speaker B:Daylight will break through the darkness is only for the night that they are not alone.
Speaker A:I'm.
Speaker B:I emphasize this.
Speaker B:Father God, please let them feel your love.
Speaker B:Let them find community, Father God, Heal their hearts, Lord.
Speaker B:Bind their spirit, Lord.
Speaker B:Heal their ligaments, Lord.
Speaker B:Bring them closer to you, Father God, in Jesus name, amen.
Speaker A:Jesus name.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:All right, guys, thank you so much for, you know, listening or watching, and I pray that you guys please.
Speaker A:God on your daily walk.
Speaker A:So God bless you guys.
Speaker A:Take care.
Speaker A:We love you, and don't worry about it.
Speaker A:Have faith.
Speaker A:Peace.
Speaker B:Bye.
